acroleukopathy:
Depigmentation (loss of color) of the extremities (fingers, toes, etc.).
acropathology:
The pathology of diseases which affect the extremities.
acropathy:
A condition affecting the fingers and toes in which the nail-beds result in thickening and widening of the extremities of the digits; the nails are abnormally curved and shiny.
adenopathy:
A swelling or morbid enlargement of the lymph nodes.
adrenalopathy:
Any pathologic condition of the adrenal glands.
adrenopathy:

aeropathy:
A pathologic condition resulting from changes in atmospheric pressure (as when flying).

Substitutive therapy; a therapeutic system in which a disease is treated by producing a second condition that is incompatible with or antagonistic to the first (homeopathy).
andropathy:
Any disease that is peculiar to men, especially one involving the genitourinary system.
anemopathy:
A disease associated with exposure to high winds.
anethopath:
An ethically or morally uninhibited person.
anethopathy, anetopathy:
In psychiatry, absence of moral inhibitions; without morality. People with this disease are considered the so-called habitual criminals. The conspicuous trait in their mental makeup is complete egocentricity, which is also reflected in their narcissistic sexual behavior.
angiocardiopathy:
A disease affecting both the heart and blood vessels.
angiomyopathy:
Any disease of the blood vessels involving the muscular layer.
angioneuropathy:
A vascular disorder attributed to an abnormality of the autonomic nervous system fibers that supply the blood vessels.
angiopathy:
Any disease of the blood vessels or lymphatics. Also angiosis.
aortopathy:
Disease affecting the aorta.
arteriopathy:
Any disease of the arteries.
arthopathy, arthopathia, arthopathology:
1. A reference to diseases of the joints.
2. The study of functional and structural changes made by diseases of the joints.
bursopathy:
Any disease of a bursa (a sac or saclike cavity filled with a viscid [VIS id] or sticky fluid that is situated at places in the tissues at which friction would otherwise develop).
cacopathy:
An old term for a severe affliction or malady.
capillaropathy:
Any disease of the capillaries, often applied to vascular changes in diabetes mellitus.
cardangiopathy:
A disease of the heart vessels.
cardiomyopathy, cardiopathia, cardiopathic:
Any disease of the heart muscle; also, myocardiopathy.
cardiopathy, cardiopath:
A reference to heart disease.
celiopathy:
A term for any abdominal disease.
cenesthopathy:
A feeling or sense of general ill-being not related to any particular organ or part of the body.
cephalopathy:
See encephalopathy.
cerebropathy, cerebropathia:
1. Any disease of the brain.
2. A hypochondriacal condition, approaching insanity, which sometimes supervenes in persons whose brains have been overtaxed.
cholecystopathy:
Disease of the gallbladder.
chondropathy:
Disease of the cartilage.
coagulopathy:
Disease affecting the coagulability of the blood.
colonopathy:
Any disordered condition of the colon. Also colopathy.
craniopathy:
Any pathological condition of the cranial bones.
cryopathy:
A morbid condition in which exposure to cold is an important factor.
cyanopathy:
Bluish discoloration of the skin caused by the lack of oxygen in the bloodstream.
cytopathy, cytopathologists, cytopathology:
1. Any disorder of a cell.
2. The branch of pathology that studies the effects of disease on the cellular level.
