baresthesia:
The sense of pressure.
baresthesiometer, baraesthesiometer,:
An instrument for measuring the sense of pressure. Other forms include: baresthesiometric, baraesthesiometric
bathyanesthesia:
The loss of deep sensations in the body.
bathyesthesia, bathyaesthesia; bathyesthesis:
1. Muscle sensation produced by muscular movement (Dorland, Med. Dict. 1901).
2. Deep sensibility of that part of the body beneath the dermal surface.
bradyesthesia:
An abnormal slowness or dullness of sense perception.
cacesthesia:
An abnormal or unpleasant feeling; a disorder of the senses.
callaesthetic, callesthetic, callaesthetics, callesthetics:
1. The philosophy, or theory, of good taste; or the perception of the beautiful in nature and art.
2.A reference to the appreciation or criticism of what is considered beautiful or pleasing.
cardianesthesia:
The specialty of giving anesthetics to patients with heart disease, especially for cardiac operations.
cardiesthesia:
A feeling or sensation associated with the heart.
caumesthesia:
Sensation of heat even when the temperature is low.

cardioesthesia, cardioesthetic:
A feeling or sensation associated with the heart.
cenesthesia, cenesthesic, cenesthetic:
1. A feeling of normal bodily existence or functioning.
2.The totality of impressions one gets from organic sensations forming the basis of ones awareness of his/her bodily state, such as the feeling of health, vigor, or apathy.
cenesthesiopathy:
Disordered consciousness or awareness; malaise, a vague feeling of physical discomfort or uneasiness, as early in an illness.
cenesthopathy:
A general feeling of discomfort, unease, and malaise not attributable to any particular part of the body.
cheirocinesthesia, cheirokinaesthesia, cheirokinesthesia:
The ability to feel movements of the hand. Also cheirokinesthetic.
chromaesthesia, chromesthesia:
1. A form of synaesthesia in which colors are seen in association with other forms of sensation.
2.The accompaniment of hearing particular sounds with seeing certain colors arbitrarily associated with them; so the results can be pseudochromaesthesia, pseudochromesthesia. These are also called photism and color hearing. Certain sounds typically have special colors associated with them.
coenesthesia, coenaesthesia, coenesthesis, coenaesthesis:
1. Awareness of ones body, especially an overall sense of ones general health. 2. The general sense or feeling of existence arising from the sum of bodily impressions, as distinct from the definite sensations of the special senses.
cryanesthesia, cryoanesthesia:
Loss of the perception of cold, as during hypothermia or from the application of certain freezing compounds. Also the intentional application of cold (such as with liquid nitrogen, etc.) to produce anesthesia for a short duration operation; that is, as with the lancing of a boil, removal of a nevus, cosmetic sandpapering of skin, etc.
cryesthesia:
Unusual or abnormal sensitivity to cold.
crymoanesthesia:
The freezing of the skin with ice, carbon dioxide snow, or the evaporation of ethyl chloride. It is used in preparing the skin for the surgical excision of superficial tumors, incisions, and drainage.

A supernormal faculty of perception, whether clairvoyant or telepathic. People endowed with cryptesthesia are said to be cryptesthetic. They have the supernormal power of seeing things that are not visible to people in general, together with a special intuitive understanding of people and things.

dermatosthesia:
A condition of having sensitive skin.
dysesthesia, dysesthetic:
Difficulty or impairment of sensation or of any bodily senses particularly the sense of touch; a diminished sensitivity to pain.
dysthermesthesia:
A disorder of the sense of temperature perception.
